Re: Dave Courtney has bought the farm
A statement on behalf of
the family of Dave
Courtney
On 22nd October 2023, Dave made the
decision to ‘stop the ride.’
He had lived an incredible, colourful rock 'n'
roll life in which he toucheed the hearts of so
many. The physical pain of living the lifestyle
he chose, especially due to the pain of both
cancer and arthritis in his Iater years,
became too much. So, rather than be a
burden to his family and friends, he chose to
'stop the ride' and take his own way out.
In his own immortal words 'stop the ride, I
want to get off.

2 people have been arrested in connection with his death. Dave was Dave, you either liked him or hated him, he didn't care.

Re: Dave Courtney has bought the farm
apparently was a real gent who helped people. All strange and sad (for those that knew him)

Yes apparently so my Facebook is full of friends saying this, they're all pretty gutted, I know people often talk up those that have passed. But I get the feeling he was very liked because he'd at one time helped most of them out of a hole.

Re: Dave Courtney has bought the farm
Seemed a strange fella. well ott, but no doubt most of it was a front, apparently was a real gent who helped people. All strange and sad (for those that knew him) enjoying himself at football on Saturday, got home had the usual party and then shot himself? It appears he did it as he was suffering health wise, but he's always said he's a fighter and can't be kept down etc, so all a bit strange.

Manuel - ha not really
He put on free events with free bbq at his camelot castle all the time. I know all the DJ's that played and a lot of the people that went. They said it was very odd there and had sex dungeons. Always Thai girls there too. They all seemed to like him

fraser = Northern Sold.

Was always a happy go lucky bloke, to say the least, so what joyo says probably makes sense. I read a book of his years back, certainly a character but these sort of people are way too hyper for my taste, but a sad ending for him.

Shot himself, very odd was at Charlton yesterday enjoying himself. I have a lot of mutual friends as he used to put on regular rave parties at his gaff. Never got to one but loads of close friends know him.
